ASIWO U1 — Launch Campaign

Project Objectives

Deliver the full launch campaign for the ASIWO U1, positioning it as a high-performance underwater propulsion system built for exploration, adventure, and cinematic underwater experiences.

The objective was to create a hero launch film, alongside a full suite of commercial visuals and photography, designed for high-scale advertising, digital campaigns, and brand positioning.

Creative Direction

Develop a cinematic concept that highlights:

  • speed and power underwater

  • freedom of movement

  • exploration in open ocean environments

Position the product within a premium, adventure-driven narrative, moving beyond standard product marketing.

Production

Execute a focused, high-performance production in Amed, Bali, known for its strong currents, deep waters, and iconic underwater landscapes.

Technical Execution

Capture across multiple environments and conditions, including:

  • Open water diving in strong currents

  • Shipwreck sequences for depth and exploration visuals

  • FPV-style underwater movement

  • Dynamic surface-to-underwater transitions

Equipment:

  • Sony FX3 & Sony A7IV

  • Underwater housing systems

  • 24–70mm G Master lens

  • DJI RS2 Pro gimbal

  • FPV drone systems

The production required navigating challenging ocean conditions, including:

  • strong currents

  • storms and heavy rain

  • limited visibility

All challenges were managed on-site to maintain production quality and deliver the planned creative vision.

Post-Production

Edit the main launch film and supporting assets with a focus on:

  • cinematic pacing and immersive storytelling

  • clean, high-end color grading for underwater environments

  • strong visual clarity despite complex conditions

Deliver a full content suite including:

  • hero commercial

  • social media cutdowns

  • high-quality photography

Results

The campaign successfully positioned the U1 as a premium, high-performance product, supported by cinematic visuals and real-world use cases.

Despite demanding environmental conditions, the production delivered high-end, usable content across all formats, meeting the expectations of a global product launch.

The project demonstrates the ability to execute commercial productions in extreme environments, combining creative direction, technical execution, and problem-solving under pressure.
