Project Objectives

Capture the live performances and tour moments of Alok — one of the most influential electronic artists in the world, consistently ranked among the top DJs globally.

Alok is known for performing in front of massive audiences, including landmark shows in Brazil with crowds reaching over a million people, placing him among a very small group of artists capable of performing at that scale.

The goal was to translate this global level of performance, scale, and energy into cinematic content that reflects both the artist’s presence and the intensity of the crowd experience.

Creative Direction

Work closely with the artist and his team to shape a visual direction that combines:

• large-scale festival energy

• emotional connection with the audience

• behind-the-scenes access

Focus on creating content that feels both epic in scale and personal in perspective.

Production

Capture multiple performances and tour moments across major international stages, including:

• Parookaville

• Lollapalooza

• Bootshaus

• Open Beatz

Operate across high-pressure live environments, capturing:

• Mainstage performances and massive crowd reactions

• Fireworks, lighting, and peak show moments

• Backstage access and intimate interactions with the artist and team

• Travel and in-between tour moments

Execute FPV drone flights and dynamic camera work to create immersive perspectives.

Equipment setup:

• Sony FX3

• DJI RS2 Pro gimbal

• 7.5mm fisheye for immersive crowd visuals

• 24–70mm G Master and 17–28mm f/2.8 for versatile cinematic coverage

• 1 Person Team

Post-Production

Edit and structure the content into high-impact cinematic pieces that reflect both the intensity of live performances and the story behind the tour.

Use pacing, sound design, and color grading to amplify scale, energy, and emotional impact.

Optimize deliverables for high performance across social media and global audiences.

Results

The project captures the presence of a globally recognized artist performing at massive scale, translating it into powerful, immersive visual content.

Final Videos reached multiple million views.

The combination of mainstage energy, fireworks, and backstage access creates a multi-layered narrative — showcasing both the spectacle and the human side of touring.
